A Severe Weather Reports page has been added to the site and can be accessed here: https://www.planoweather.com/wxSPCreports.php Daily reports for the entire United States issued by the Storm Prediction Center can be viewed historically by day. Reports are listed for wind, hail, and tornado’s.

PlanoWeather.com WXSIM Generated Forecasts

UPDATE – Due to time requirements, we have stopped publishing these forecasts.

PlanoWeather.com will soon be providing forecasts created with WXSIM – Interactive Local Atmospheric Modeling System. WXSIM is a very unique software package – over 25 years in the making – for modeling, forecasting, or simply studying weather. Multiple forecasts will be generated daily and displayed on PlanoWeather.com alongside NWS forecasts. A comparison page will also be added for determining accuracy between WXSIM forecasts, NWS forecasts, and actual observed temperatures.
