The National Weather Service (NWS) will be implementing changes to its API as early as February 1, 2017. These changes will impact alerting protocols, forecast applications, and URL changes to SSL. As a result, the PlanoWeather.com server software must be upgraded for compatibility and many of our pages and back-end scripts will require updating. Over the next few weeks and when the NWS officially makes the transition, you may notice changes to the site and possibly experience issues as we work through the updates.
