First, we enabled a toggle to switch the live station data units-of-measure between Imperial and Metric. This was in response to a request we received through social media a few months ago.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"326\" height=\"167\" src=\"http:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_19-43-56.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-431\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_19-43-56.jpg 326w, https:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_19-43-56-300x154.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 326px) 100vw, 326px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Second, we added a Seasons Countdown section, because we all need a reminder that even though we hit 89.6 degrees today (4\/9\/19), Summer does not begin for another 72 days! The new section will update to countdown each season: Spring-Vernal Equinox, Summer \u2013 Summer Solstice, Fall \u2013 Autumn Equinox, and Winter \u2013 Winter Solstice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"379\" height=\"123\" src=\"http:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_23-51-53.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-436\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_23-51-53.jpg 379w, https:\/\/www.planoweather.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/04\/2019-04-09_23-51-53-300x97.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 379px) 100vw, 379px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>We also made several graphical updates to freshen up the site.\nWe added a seamless cloud background graphic, a new set of forecast icons, new\nmoon phase images, and rounded corners on the header and footer sections,\ntables, header fields, and images.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have any feedback or suggestions for site changes or\nadditions, please let us know!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We made a couple of additions to the home page of our site this week.
