WXSIM forecasts are now LIVE!

Monday, May 31st, 2010 11:50am CST

UPDATE – Due to time requirements, we have stopped publishing these forecasts.

PlanoWeather.com forecasts created with WXSIM (Interactive Local Atmospheric Modeling System) are now LIVE! Forecasts are generated 4 times a day at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 9pm and are uploaded at 15 minutes past the hour following their creation. They can be viewed alongside NWS forecasts on the home page or in detail here: http://www.planoweather.com/wxsimforecast.php A comparison page will soon be added for determining accuracy between WXSIM forecasts, NWS forecasts, and actual observed temperatures.

UPDATE 11/12/10: This page has been replaced with http://www.planoweather.com/wxnoaarecords.php which adds barometric pressure and snowfall records.
